Hello! I'm Ahwon Cho.
I am a passionate UX designer who believes that design has the power to change the world and improve people's lives.
I'm also a dog lover(our family has fostered 6 rescued dogs and they all found their forever home. Yay!) and a person who likes to have a small garden.
I have a diverse skill set and extensive experience designing web applications, responsive websites, and mobile applications for companies in Korea and the United States. My expertise in user-centered design principles ensures that my work is always tailored to meet the users' needs.

A few years ago, I completed my master's study in UX Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I gained invaluable knowledge and honed my abilities as a collaborator and designer who truly understands people. But my quest for learning and growth doesn't stop there. I have just finished an AI Machine Learning course in July 2023, which may seem unconventional for a UX designer, but I firmly believe it holds great potential for enhancing the design process and user experiences.
I took some art classes in 2019, and those are my portfolio. Learning and trying new things is always fun!
From an early age, I have been fueled by curiosity, constantly questioning the reasoning behind everything. When I first discovered Chat GPT and the power of machine learning, my curiosity skyrocketed, driving me to explore this exciting field further. I am eager to unlock the potential of machine learning and uncover how it can be harnessed to create meaningful behavioral change through design.
As a UX designer, I am not only deeply passionate about my craft, but I also possess a natural empathy, open-mindedness, and listening skills. I believe that great solutions can come from anyone, which is why I value collaborating with cross-functional teams and other designers. By actively listening and understanding users and colleagues, I can effectively solve problems and deliver impactful designs. I am dedicated to understanding the perspectives of others, whether it's users seeking solutions or colleagues sharing valuable insights. This collaborative approach not only results in better designs but also fosters stronger relationships and a more positive work environment.

Design incredibly influences people's feelings, behaviors, and decision-making. As a designer, I am driven to motivate people to change their behavior positively and make a meaningful impact on our world. With a particular interest in motivators and behavior change, I am determined to find answers to the question of how I can leverage design to drive positive behavioral transformations. I am genuinely excited about the knowledge and insights I will gain through my ongoing machine learning studies and how it will shape my ability to create better products for people.
